Chris Loder, MP for West Dorset, has welcomed military procurement reforms that will benefit the rotary industry with jobs and prosperity. Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr Loder also reiterated the importance of Leonardo Helicopters in the neighbouring Yeovil constituency, which employs thousands of people in the region.
Mr Loder said: “I am a huge advocate of Leonardo Helicopters, which is the only end-to-end helicopter supply chain manufacturer in the UK. Upcoming reforms to the military procurement process, and the recent unveiling of the next stage of the New Medium Helicopter Programme, will have many benefits for our regional rotary industry.”
