Mr Loder met with Network Rail at a summit on the West of England line to discuss progress on the remedial works and challenged them to have the hourly timetable restored by mid – November.
Mr Loder said; “I have been keeping the pressure on relentlessly with Network Rail to ensure this wholly unacceptable disruption to a vital railway line is brought to an end. I am very pleased to see that work has been done to rectify the line and resolve the issues causing the speed limits. This is great news for the north of the constituency and communities across West Dorset.”
