In Transport Select Committee on 12th May 2021, Chris Loder MP challenged members of Highways England, on the efficiency of their implementation of safety reforms to A35. He also noted the lengthy delays in implementing structural changes and devastatingly high number of road deaths, and questioned whether the level of bureaucracy within the organisation was to blame.
